Cartagena of the West Indies’ Tourism Corporation is a non-profit, mixed economy company dedicated to the coordination of public and private activities. It is focused on supplying sustainable and competitive tourist services and products. It also promotes these activities at national and international level. It is ruled by the Colombian law and located in Cartagena of the West Indies.  
 
In 2011, Cartagena of the West Indies will be a flourishing city with a decentralized and transparent management of public finances, with compromised citizens to its conservation and development. It will be a city built for the people and known as an important tourist, business and industrial center of the Caribbean.
